While people tend to remember 1980s music rather a little more fondly than it deserves, those who didn’t watch the ABC on weeknights don’t know what they missed! Peter Russell-Clarke’s interstitial segment of recipes were often more entertaining than some of the musical time-fillers. And this is ‘the book of the series’, written in Russell-Clarke’s own inimitable style. Sections are divided into food-types, each opening with a humorous story.

Quite a gem of a book.
